The Story

An evil propaganda? A magical portal? And five children with a kick for adventure and storytelling? What more would you need to create the ultimate edutainment video? The Misr El Kheir awareness cartoon on Virus-C was an important campaign that needed an intensive background study, especially since it targeted children.

Our team took the time to study children's learning abilities and the best educational methods that can impact them and truly resonate with them. That is when we found that one of the best ways was to help them visualize the topic through a dramatized context. In other words, we created villains and heroes, obstacles and solutions, and, most importantly, captivating visuals that grabbed their attention.

The video follows five friends with different personalities, characteristics, and looks as a reference to children's uniqueness and their natural ability to merge with diverse peers. The group is able to transport into "the books of the day" that help them learn of important matters in the world.

The concept behind the video was to create a scalable idea that could be transformed into a series later on. Different elements like the set characters, catchphrases, and bendable storyline can be used to cover different topics in the future.

With every book, the group is transported into alternate universes where they will experience new adventures and learn valuable lessons. This episode focused on visualizing Virus-C as an evil army to symbolize its collective effect on the population.

Through their curiosity and passion to learn, the group understood what Virus-C is and how to prevent it from spreading. The style of the video is fun, colorful, and scenic. The idea was to tell educational stories from a child's perspective, which is almost always more imaginative and amusing.
