The Prey

Sometimes freedom can be frightening, especially when you have to let go of the safety of your cage. The Prey is a short film about a domesticated falcon, Raja, that lives with his falconer, Sultan. Despite the abundance of food at home, Raja goes out with Sultan every other day for a stimulating hunt trip in the desert. However, one day, Sultan decides to release Raja into the desert to live as a wild bird as nature intended. Raja then needed to adapt to this new life and decide whether he would lose the comfort and security of his caretaker but gain absolute freedom or return to the safety of his cage but live the rest of his life as a pet.
